More and more companies are creating space for philanthropic change and ProspectSoft and The Access Group is no exception. At ProspectSoft, we’re lucky to be able to use the resources of our parent company, The Access Group. With the Corporate Social Responsibility Commitment outlining the responsibilities that Access endeavours to uphold, it’s even easier for us to do our part too!

The Access Group’s generous support has helped numerous charities provide essential support to vulnerable people. The Access Foundation was set up in 2021 as a separate organisation that focuses on creating positive change in the lives of people who need it. The current Access global charity partners include Mental Health America and Sane. Every year, employees at Access are given extra leave, additional to their Annual Leave allowance, to get out there and make a hands-on difference in their community. Whether you join in on what your team has organised or take a day off to assist a cause that’s close to your heart, Access encourages every employee to do their part, their way.

Access also allows employees to nominate and vote for charities that they want to support. Once a cause has been selected for the Charity of the Year, everyone comes together to raise as much money as possible and the total sum is matched by Access. Previous Access Charity of the Year winners include Parkinsons UK, Bipolar UK, and the National Deaf Children’s Society. The current Charity of the Year is Magic Breakfast, who are a UK charity committed to ensuring that no schoolchild is left hungry.

Some examples of events we have coming up to support Magic Breakfast are the 2024 Charity Ball, The Access Foundation Lottery, London Park Walks, and even Abseiling off Access HQ! Fundraising events have included, Marathons, Quizzes, and Online Escape Rooms. The Access Group have even developed technology to improve fundraising and make it even more enjoyable. Through the staff portal, you can easily ‘give as you earn’ and even ‘round to the pound’. These schemes make giving back a no-brainer. Even better, get fit with the company-wide pedometer challenge and make every step count!

At ProspectSoft we’ve been running various charity events for many years. In the past few years we’ve hosted Macmillan Coffee Mornings, grown Movember ‘staches, and donned our best Christmas jumpers for Save the Children. We love to get everyone involved in the fun and ensure there’s something for everyone with the range of our events. With each new cohort of placements, we’re able to welcome innovative ideas to increase the reach of our donations.
