The end of an Era!

By Sophie Henderson on Thu 22 August 2013 in Placement Blog

Well isn’t this a sad time, my last two weeks of being a ProspectSoft placement!

This month has been a time to reflect on the past year and reminisce on all the good, sometimes challenging, but always interesting times I’ve had!

One of the main things I’ve been reflecting on is how much I have learnt over the last 13 months. When I started my year as a ProspectSoft placement I was definitely lacking confidence with regards to my ability. What’s incredible, is that some of the weaknesses I had when I started this process are now what I consider to be some of my strengths. I’ve learnt tons about what I’m best at and most interested in, giving me a huge insight into what sort of career I want to follow when I graduate.

That alone has made my placement with ProspectSoft one of the most eye-opening and valuable experiences in my life to date, and not only have I learnt a lot, but I’ve also met some amazing people along the way!

I couldn’t thank the people I’ve met at ProspectSoft enough for supporting me throughout the year and always being there when I needed a helping hand. There is no doubt that starting a placement can be a daunting experience, but ProspectSoft couldn’t have made it easier for me to settle in and feel like part of the team from the word go. It really has been a great year!

If you are thinking of doing a placement year, I would definitely recommend ProspectSoft as an amazing company to work for.
